Last Updated: February 1st, 2026
CityFindr™ (“CityFindr,” “we,” or “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from users of our website located at https://www.cityfindr.com, including any related mobile websites, mobile applications, or other media forms or channels connected or related thereto (collectively, the “Website” or “Site”). This Copyright Policy describes how CityFindr addresses claims of copyright infringement, how you may report infringing content, and how we protect our own intellectual property and that of our users.
By using the Website, you agree to be bound by this Copyright Policy and our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference. Nothing in this Copyright Policy constitutes legal advice. If you have questions about your rights or obligations under this policy, you should consult your own legal counsel.
1. COPYRIGHT OF CITYFINDR CONTENT
All text, graphics, logos, images, layouts, software, and other content created or authored by CityFindr and made available on the Website (including but not limited to descriptions of services, guides, instructional text, FAQs, help‑center content, marketing copy, and other written content) are the exclusive intellectual property of CityFindr or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise use any CityFindr‑authored content without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted for your personal, non‑commercial use (e.g., viewing and sharing via standard browser functions or permitted social-sharing tools).
CityFindr reserves all rights not expressly granted in these terms.
2. USER CONTENT AND COPYRIGHT – PHOTOS AND OTHER WORK
CityFindr may allow users to post reviews, ratings, comments, photos, and other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you retain ownership of any copyright or other intellectual property rights in that content, subject to the license you grant to CityFindr in our Terms of Use. In particular, you retain ownership of any photos you upload; CityFindr does not claim ownership of those images.
However, by uploading photos or other content, you grant CityFindr a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and promote your User Content in connection with operating, improving, and marketing the Website and its services.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit, including any photographs or written material;
- The User Content does not infringe the copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party;
- You have obtained any necessary consents for the use of any third‑party content included in your User Content (for example, music, logos, or images you did not create);
- You will not submit content that is unlawful or otherwise violates these terms.
CityFindr may suspend or remove any User Content that appears to infringe third‑party rights, even before receiving a formal notice, and may disable accounts engaged in repeated or flagrant infringement.
3. COPYRIGHT AND LISTING‑OWNERSHIP FOR PAID / BUSINESS USERS
If CityFindr offers paid‑listing, premium‑member, or business‑profile features, business owners or administrators who upload photos, logos, or other materials for their listings retain ownership of such content. CityFindr does not claim ownership of those materials, but by submitting them you grant CityFindr the same non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free, sublicensable license described in these Terms to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with promoting, managing, and operating the CityFindr platform and its paid or free services.
CityFindr may remove or modify paid-listing content to ensure compliance with its Terms, this Copyright Policy, or applicable law, without affecting the underlying ownership of the content by the business owner.
4. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT NOTICES (DMCA‑STYLE)
CityFindr complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. If you believe that any material on the Website infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated agent following the process below. - A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your signature (electronic or physical).

If you submit a notice that is false, misleading, or made in bad faith, you may be liable for damages under applicable law.
4A. CITYFINDR MAY RETAIN COPIES OF REMOVED CONTENT
CityFindr may also retain copies of removed or disabled content in its internal systems or backups for fraud prevention, audit, security, legal‑defense, or dispute‑resolution purposes, even after the content is no longer publicly visible. Such retention will comply with applicable legal requirements and CityFindr’s data‑retention policies. Retention of content for these purposes will not be considered a use of that content in violation of this policy.
4B. CITYFINDR MAY COMPLY WITH GOVERNMENT OR REGULATORY ORDERS
CityFindr may also remove, modify, or restrict access to content in response to any governmental, regulatory, or court‑issued order, subpoena, or similar directive, even if no formal DMCA‑style notice is received. CityFindr reserves the right to act in accordance with such orders as required by law, and such actions shall not constitute a waiver of any of our rights or defenses under these terms.
5. CITYFINDR’S INDEMNIFICATION AND PROTECTION FROM CLAIMS
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CityFindr, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use of the Website or any content made available through it;
- Your User Content or any other information you submit;
- Any allegation that your User Content or use of the Website infringes or misappropriates any third‑party copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Your violation of this Copyright Policy, the Terms of Use, or applicable law.
This indemnity applies whether the claim is brought by a third party or the government. You understand that CityFindr has no duty to review or monitor User Content but may, at its discretion, investigate and respond to reports of infringement or other violations of this Copyright Policy.
6. FAIR-USE-TYPE ACTIVITIES
CityFindr may make limited, non‑commercial uses of certain content in ways that are consistent with established fair‑use concepts under applicable law, such as displaying small, reduced‑size thumbnails of images or brief, non‑substantive excerpts of text for indexing, search, or navigation purposes. These uses are intended to facilitate access to and discovery of content on the Website and may occur in connection with search‑engine indexing, thumbnails, or similar features. CityFindr does not warrant that any particular use will be found fair, and it reserves the right to remove or modify any such use if it is challenged or found not to be permissible.
7. PROCEDURES FOR ALLEGED INFRINGEMENT
If you believe that your own content has been removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice to CityFindr, stating:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its prior location on the Website.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your signature (electronic or physical).
CityFindr may, at its discretion and in accordance with applicable law, provide your counter‑notice to the party who submitted the original notice of infringement and may reinstate the material if no further legal action is initiated.
8. CITYFINDR’S COMMITMENT TO REMOVAL OF PROPERLY REPORTED CONTENT
CityFindr will respond to all valid notices of copyright infringement and, in accordance with applicable law and our policies:
- Remove or disable access to material that appears to infringe a third‑party copyright when CityFindr receives a properly formatted notice;
- Take reasonable steps to prevent the re‑posting of the same infringing material by the same user; and
- Enforce repeat‑infringer procedures, including disabling accounts of users who repeatedly or flagrantly violate copyright protections.
CityFindr’s compliance with this process is intended to protect both copyright holders and our users, but does not constitute an admission of liability.
9. PROTECTION OF CITYFINDR’S WRITTEN WORK AND OTHER CONTENT
CityFindr’s written content, including but not limited to descriptions of services, guides, instructional text, FAQs, help‑center content, marketing copy, terms of use, and other materials created or authored by CityFindr, is protected by copyright law and other applicable laws. You may not:
- Copy or republish such content on any other website or platform without our prior written consent;
